WHAT IS A URINE FAST AND HOW DOES ONE DO IT?
Answer: A urine fast is a fast where you only drink distilled water and your own urine. Yes…distilled water and urine ONLY.
You drink up to 100% of your urine every day. The amount of distilled water depends on the outside temperature, elevation, humidity, your weight, sex, age, exercise and where you live. A good rule of thumb is to drink 4 liters a day of distilled water if you are drinking 100% of your urine. Drink enough water to satiate your thirst but do not drink so much water that you get hyponatremia.
Guidelines:
Stop drinking urine 2 hours before bedtime, otherwise, your sleep will be interrupted by frequent urination.
At 2 hours before bedtime collect and save your urine in a large glass container with a screw-on lid. This urine will be used for topical applications the next morning or can be saved for months to years for topical application if desired.
Patients who drinking 100% of their urine plus distilled water urinate very frequently. Over time, the urine becomes more water-like in appearance (clearer and clearer) and the taste becomes close to that of warm water.
BEFORE A FAST: Start eating plant based meals. Remove the meat and fish from your diet. REmove fatty and fried foods from your diet. Fruit and raw vegetables are easily digestible and ensure that the intestines clean themselves so the actual fast can easily begin.
DURING THE FAST: In this period, exclusively drink water and urine. It is best if you do not work during the fast. Although some exertion is possible, rest and relaxation are important in order for the purifying process to take place undisturbed.
Alternated with urine, pure, clean water can be drunk. Once the fast has been in progress for some time, all the urine can be drunk. In this period, you will urinate quite easily (urinating every fifteen minutes is not unusual).
Extras: A complete body massage every day with old, heated urine is highly recommended. Urine massage is good for blood circulation, and massaging with old urine also ensures that you do not have heart palpitations during the fast. Furthermore it serves as a way of feeding the body through the skin, immediately into the muscle and lymph tissue.
During fasts, urine enemas are highly recommended. Many illnesses begin in the intestines and it is vey important to get rid of toxic waste products stored in them and to keep them clean.
AFTER A FAST: This period is necessary in order to slowly and carefully return to a normal and natural eating pattern. You should take at least one week to gradually and carefully readjust your eating habits. The best way to end a fast is to stop drinking urine and water at the end of the afternoon. After one hour, drink a glass of orange juice, lemon juice with water, grape juice or apple juice. The next day, drink another glass of fruit juice during lunch. From this time on, start eating juicy fruits. The following day, eat vegetable broth, steamed vegetables and rice. This is a good way to return to your old pattern of eating, excluding the unhealthy habits.
HOW DO YOU PROTECT YOURSELF FROM BECOMING LOW ON SODIUM AND OTHER ELECTROLYTES DURING THE FAST?
Answer: A urine fast is no different than a water fast in that during a water fast you really don’t get any sodium or other electrolytes unless you add them in. A urine fast is actually better than a water fast because you are receiving so many vital nutrients, minerals, hormones from your re-absorbed urine that you likely won’t need electrolytes or sodium.
Topical Urine Application
However, to answer the question you can apply topical urine to your skin (all over your body) each day.
Take a moist towel, pour the urine on the towel, and then rub onto the skin all over the body, especially any area that is giving trouble (like the organs, lumph node areas as those absord the most nutrients).
Leave it on the skin for 20 minutes, then shower off. Your skin will absorb vital minerals and nutrients.
Take Electrolytes in Water
To replenish sodium or electrolytes: Take 1 teaspoon of real sea salt or Himalayan salt carefully spread out during each day. Ingesting a teaspoon of salt at once can cause nausea. Avoid salt contaminated with fluoride.
Time Released Potassium
If you feel wasted or dizzy while fasting, you could add time-released prescription potassium daily to add to the sodium in salt. Take 1 teaspoon of sea salt or Himalayan salt from an excellent source and Klor-Con 20 mEq (1,500 mg) a prescription form of potassium chloride.
Measuring electrolytes, sodium, chloride, and potassium levels
It is very important that you measure your electrolytes every 5-7 days for a longer urine fast.
Get a blood test to check sodium, chloride and potassium levels.
Your serum sodium should be between 140-145 mmol/L, chloride 100-105 mmol/L, and potassium 4.5-5.0 mmol/L.
HOW DOES URINE FASTING WORK?
Answer: Urine fasting is correcting nutritional deficiencies and recycling nutrients and hormones, which would otherwise have been lost in the toilet. It basically gives your body another opportunity to re-absorb vital nutrients, minerals, hormones and amino acids. Think of it as giving the body two chances to absorb these nutrients, and the second pass (via urine) may actually absorb the nutrients better than the first pass (eating).
Remember, urine contains many biological substances such as bacterial, viral, fungal and tumor antigens. Those antigens, when absorbed again through the urine, increase the body’s resistance to the issues caused by the antigens. This is analogous in principal to a vaccine. When you are given a vaccine, you actually receive some of the virus of what you are getting the vaccine for. It’s a similar principal. However vaccinations are not part of this protocol.
Fasting in general saves around 20% of the energy otherwise used in digestion, so that your body can focus on healing and repairing all of its other vital systems and functions. Fasting is always a good thing for your body. It gives it a chance to heal and reset. Urine fasting is an added benefit and will improve your bodily systems and overall health and well-being dramatically.
Remember: Urine fasting makes stem cells, increases telomere length and raises human growth hormone to very high levels while fasting. Urine fasting supplies your body with declustered water to optimally hydrate cells and tissues.
Rubbing urine into the skin provides another pathway for these important substances to access the body.
SHOULD I CONTINUE TAKING PRESCRIPTION DRUGS DURING A URINE FAST?
Answer: Ideally you should NOT be taking prescription drugs while doing a urine fast and you should stop supplementation if possible.
However, you should not interfere with other “absolutely essential” treatments.
Continue with pharmaceutical drugs only if essential and be very mindful of your dosages.
REMEMBER: You are re-absorbing the drugs through drinking the urine so you are effectively “increasing your
dosage” if your continue to take them while on the fast.
AVOID:
Blood pressure medication or blood thinners
Alcohol.
Recreational drugs.
Cigarettes.
**Defer all chelation therapies during a urine fast.
SHOULD I CONTINUE TAKING SUPPLEMENTS WHILE ON A URINE FAST?
Answer: Ideally, DO NOT take vitamin or mineral supplements except vitamin C during fasting. Some vitamins if you are low on them, such as vitamin D3 can be taken with olive oil once during the fast. Vitamins will make your urine taste too strong, and you might be slightly allergic to some of your vitamins. Keep it simple.
You can take your minerals if you are low on certain minerals. You can also take vitamin C crystals 1 teaspoon once or twice a day, and 5% Lugol’s iodine 4 drops a day in a glass of water.
HOW LONG SHOULD I FAST?
Answer: It really all depends on your condition, age, weight, level of fitness and overall health. There are no hard and fast rules of fasting. Basically, you fast long enough to cure whatever issue you have. John Armstrong, the author of “The Water of Life” had one of his patients fast 101 days to get cured of blindness in one eye. A Dr. in Mexico cured himself of cataracts with a 9 day urine fast.
Urine Fasting for Critical Illnessess: If your condition is critical or serious, a longer fast will provide more immediate and long term benefits. 7-10-14 day fasts are recommended. The longer you can fast, the more the cancer can be starved, for example. If you are in a dire situation, a longer fast may be helpful for you. Find the internal power and strength to get through the fast and make sure you have the resources around you to help and support you in this journey.
Urine Fasting for Prevention and Upgrading: If the purpose of the fast is for a boost to body’s systems or a system reboot, try a 3 day fast…and then two weeks later try a 7 day fast.
Remember, the longer you fast, the more health benefits you may receive.
WILL I GET HUNGRY WHILE FASTING?
Answer: If you are new to fasting or are not on a ketogenic diet, the first day and maybe the second day of fasting you may feel hungry. After day two, your perceived hunger is more than your actual hunger. It’s purely a mental/psychological response to not eating. Your body is quite happy, but your mind may not understand or know how to cope with not having food 3-4 times per day.
Work through it. You can do anything you set your mind to. It’s amazing when you truly believe that. You’ve heard of people completing extraordinary feats becasue they just put their mind to it. Sure, uou may miss the enjoyment of tasting, smelling, and eating your food…and you may even feel bored by not eating…but your body is rejoicing, healing and transforming.
Ancient cultures have been practicing fasting for different amounts of days for thousands of years. It’s important to give our digestive system a break, and allow the other organ systems to heal and repair. The benefits of fasting are widely acknowledged around the world.
However, if the hunger is unbearable…make a snack using real olive oil, avocados, or some nut butter (brazil, almond, macadamia). Do not eat carbohydrates.
WHAT IF YOU CANNOT FAST FOR MORE THAN ONE DAY?
Answer: While it is challenging to believe that someone cannot fast for a 24 hour period or longer…if the fast proves to be too difficult, you can do an incomplete fast. Add a light snack as necessary. This could be raw nuts (although watch your digestion), an avocado with olive oil, canned salmon or tuna with olive oil, or even up to 4-12 fried or hard-boiled eggs with olive oil each day. Stay in ketosis and eat very few carbohydrates. Our suggestion is to push through the fast. It’s a very common and healthy thing. Your mind is telling you that you cannot go without food. Your mind is wrong. You can.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF URINE FASTING?
Answer: None. Aside from hunger, boredom and potentially lower than normal energy levels.
The first two days of the fast, people may experience moderate hunger. This usually goes away after two days, but a psychological hunger may persist longer. You may initially experience diarrhea because the body is eliminating toxins, dead cancer cells, candida, molds, and parasites. This is a good thing. The problem will lessen with time. You might experience “constipation”. It is common not to have any bowel movements for days because with no food, there is no fiber and there is very little stool. If this is a problem, take some medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and coconut oil. These oils will keep you in ketosis, and this will move the bowels in the direction of diarrhea. Start out with one tablespoon of both and increase as needed. If constipation still persists, take 1 tablespoon of psyllium in a large glass of water. If still a significant problem, have one to two colon hydrotherapy sessions with Bifidus probiotics implanted into the colon afterward. Once constipation clears up, only drink urine and water.
If you have not previously been on a ketogenic diet, this may contribute further symptoms, such as lightheadedness and a “spacey” feeling. If this happens, add 1 teaspoon of sea salt to a glass of water, and drink it. Some people may need potassium salts: citrate, chloride or bicarbonate. Topical urine application will add these minerals to the body. Inadequate electrolytes can cause fatigue, brain fog, a spacey feeling and even heart arrhythmia. Magnesium glycinate or citrate up to three 500 mg pills per day should solve the arrhythmia problem. Too much magnesium will cause diarrhea.
WHAT DOES URINE TASTE LIKE?
Answer: Urine can taste like buttery water. It can also taste more pungent if your diet is high in meats, proteins, dairy. Many of you have had wine, cheese, and beer which tastes far worse than urine. It’s like eating insects…some people love them and it’s part of their culture. Others have a psychological block against eating them…but they can if they close their eyes and just do it. IT’s not that bad. Most people describe urine as tasting a little bitter. If your urine is dark, very bitter, tastes awful, then you either are not consuming enough water or you are very toxic. Sometimes when you are very toxic the urine will cause nausea at first. Some of this is psychological conditioning.
CAN I DRINK URINE EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK?
Answer: Yes. Some people drink urine every day for years as a chronic disease preventive. If you are going to have just one glass a day, drink the first-morning urine. It will have human growth hormone, melatonin, and many nutritious substances in higher dosages than later in the day.
HOW DO YOU APPLY URINE TOPICALLY
Answer: Urine applied topically needs to be done daily. The first morning urine is the most important urine of the day because it has melatonin, human growth hormone and steroid hormones in higher quantity than urine from later in the day. Pour a little urine on to a washcloth and rub it into the entire head, face, neck, and feet. Include other areas as desired. Urine can be rubbed into skin blemishes and many will eventually disappear. It can be applied to areas above known tumors with the expectation that it will reach the tumors in a concentrated dose. The topical application should be done for 20 minutes or longer.
WHAT ARE URINE INJECTIONS? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
Answer: Urine can be used as a vaccine. Midstream urine is collected into a sterile container, and 1 to 2 ml is drawn into a 3 mL syringe fitted with a ½ inch 27-gauge needle. The urine is injected into the dermis (skin). It’s important to inject the urine into the dermis because the dermis has different immune system cells, which become activated when injecting urine into the dermis. Intradermal injection of urine can be used to treat allergies, cancer, autoimmune disease, as well as most chronic and acute diseases.
